This session will highlight the need to imbed culture within the World Language Classroom in the target language rather than viewing culture as something to be taught as a separate entity in English. This session will give the audience an overview and explanation of the 2017 NCSSFL-ACTFL Can-Do Statements and how these statements can help guide instruction in the classroom. There will be time to collaborate and create.
This session will focus on using technology specifically in the world language classroom. Participants will learn how to incorporate web-based tools and apps to help their students with interpersonal and presentational communication for both formative and summative assessments.
